Hi. I just registered and hope u guys can help me.

I had a trojan or adware or something on my pc which I think came from a warez site I was on at some stage. Now last night I seem to have gotten rid of it because I download Webroot SpySweeper, updated it and let it scan. But now I have something else I think the people refer to as ad.yieldmanager.com, although Microsoft AntiSpyware seems to show me many more when I look at the Host Files.

What happens is: while I'm browsing the internet and very often the same pages, it basicly interrupts me. I can see what happens in the IE status bar. Its like the page to be loaded is intercepted by this yieldmanager. This causes the page to say its done loading, although its only loaded halfway and where the page basicly ceased loading further, there is one line of code. I presume this is the webpage's code. This is VERY VERY frustrating because it messes up my browsing. Please if anyone can help.

My HijackThis v1.99.1 Log follows and after that my ewido Security Suite Log.

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.

Apply the update, reboot, and post a fresh Hijack This log.
