im geting a new computer next year the motherboard is going to be a ASUS A8N-SLI SKT939 i dont have the money to get a sound card do you think i need one for playing games :tazz:

You can always change it later, so I say don't worry about it. Use your old one, and if it isn't good enough, Plan B.

the onboard sound of most motherboards should be fine for general gaming. and as tyger pointed out, you can always upgrade to a different card later.
