Doom 3 weird noise

Hi, when I play doom 3 the game runs fine but sometimes there is a popping/clicking noise. It only happens when I move. I have the latest patch and latest drivers for my soundcard.

I defragged after I installed it as well, but it didn;t change anything.

This may be your sound Card what make is your Sound Card and have you updated recent drivers for it and is your sound card compatible for the game a Creativity Sound Blaster ZS is recommended for the game please get back with the name of your sound card thanks :tazz:

Have you tried lowering the sound quality and turning off EAX?

I have onboard C-Media sound.

I haven't tried lowering the sound quality yet, i'll give it a go. Thanks.

Hi , go to www.c-media.com.tw and download the Latest Driver From there see if that helps :tazz:

Sorted it. I set the max sounds per shader to 1 as opposed to 0 in the config file.
