hey I was in my bios to turn on fast write for my Nvidia Graphics card.

I came accross these things here that I'm not sure of and would liek to know what they are and do.

HPIC Mode
HDD S.M.A.R.T Capability
and AGP Apertuer Size

HPIC I don't know about.

HDD SMART is system monitoring and reporting technology, and it's for checking and reporting any impending problems with your HDD. If it pops up and tells you there is a problem beleive it.

AGP appeture size is just the amount of memory allotted to your AGP card/device.

ONLY enable it if you are NOT using a sata or scsi device, or only enable it for a normal, IDE hdd, as that would severely hinder performance.

found this site on a quick Google search.

looks like it has something to do with your cooling system. I would suggest that you contact your motherboard manufacturer or better yet, read the manual :tazz:

Ok, but the thing is that was not in my bios till I got it back from the Computer Trouble shooters.

They did a lot of things to my computer that they should not have, and they only needed to repair my hard drive.
