i installed windows xp on my girlfriend's computer and i dont have installation disc for norton antivirus.
can anyone please tell me where i can maybe download norton antivirus for free or if not then any other good antivirus program for free to download that i can run on this pc...

AVG is a very good antivirus program. They offer their previous generation software for free:

It is updated every few days just like Norton does - and it is free.
