Hello,
I have read through and followed each step in this 'click here before posting a Hijack This Log' and I my virus scan is still picking up C:\WINDOWS\system32\uqgfvu\winsp3.exe as a memory trojan. This was sent to me over msn messenger from a friend I trusted.
I downloaded the Hijack This program and installed it but it will not run. It will start up and then just disappear. Same thing happens to my virus program and when I try to run msconfig. Trojan Hunter Guard doesn't detect anything.

If I left anything out please tell me!

*edit* I can't clean, delete, nor quaratine this. *edit*

Hi Ladybee, welcome to GeeksToGo

Try renaming HijackThis (right click on HijackThis.exe and choose rename) to some other name like water.exe or anything you'd like keeping the extension the same and see if it will run then.

Regards,
