im going to get a new computer next year this is what its all going to be
WESTERN DIGITAL 1200JD 120GB SERIAL ATA DRIVE.
ASUS A8N-SLI SKT939 AMD64 BOARD.
SHUTTLE CR40 BLACK DVD-RW DRIVE.
CREATIVE AUDIGY 2 ZS PCI SOUND CARD W/FIREWIRE PORT.
2x ELSA GEFORCE 7800GTX 256MB PCIX16 VIDEO CARD.
PC-3200 1GB CORSAIR "XPERT" DDR RAM (2X 512MB) C2.
AMD ATHLON64 3700+ 64-BIT CPU .and the power is a 480w do i need more then 480w.

Hi,

You don't need more than 480w for that system, but, and pay close attention, you should have a 480w name brand power supply with at least 25 amps on the 12v rail.

If you give us the brand and model number of the psu we can look it up and recomend if its good enough or not.

hi, i'm no expert but you should be able to use it with your setup (and have a lot of room to add alot more hardware, if your tower can fit it.) But i dont use amd so i dont know if it have the right mobo conecter.
