hi there all, I am really sorry to bother you all, but i need help. I have a problem that my virus Scanner (PC Cillian) keeps picking up but wont get rid of. The virus is called
ADW SAHAGENT.P and is located within the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\9v1p6lj6.exe

I go search this file out and find it and hit delete but it wont delete. It says the file is in use and cant be accessed.

PC-Cillian also says this on the pop up saying under scan action result : Denied Access.

Please this keeps popping up and I am getting at wits end with it. My computer is only 6 months old and runs Windows XP home edition.

Thank you for taking the time to help me, hehe I'm a Paramedic so i'm happy to help medically wise if needed.

Many thank yous to you all

Hello and Welcome to Geeks to Go! :tazz:

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log back here in this thread.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
