Your log is clean, so I am guessing you just want to get rid of the security center.

What is it that its telling you? If it is that you dont have any antivirus, you definately need that.

To turn it off, click Start - Run - type Services.msc

Scroll through the list and find SecurityCenter. Double click on that, set it to start manually and stop the service.

That should do the trick.

What I have going on is a fake Windows Security Center pop-up that occurs occasionally. Also along with this, a balloon will appear in the System tray saying that virus definitions are out of date and Spyware activity detected. It tells me to click the balloon for help.

see the popup here popup

see the balloon here baloon

and sometimes google opens other sites as starware

Lets see if this picks up anything. Since your HJT log is clean.

Please run an on-line virus scan at Kaspersky OnLine Scan or if that doesnt work, you can use TrendMicro or BitDefender. (Please post the results of the scan(s) in your next reply)

If KAV and HJT dont find anything, then thats one clean computer. Have you tried my suggestions to see if that stops the problem?
