This is crazy! A few months ago, I was unable to write to a CD on my CD-ROM drive. CDs were playable. Then, I was unable to play a CD. Now I have no sound coming from my speakers. I tried my speakers on my MP3 player and they work. I removed the CD from the Device list, rebooted, also reinstalled the driver and it still doesn't work. I tried to fix by looking at the HP help - it said to remove the sound drivers, which I did. When I rebooted it says that it can't install the drivers. Now I am really screwed!
I've got other problems too - I uninstalled my ZoneAlarm firewall because it wasn't working and I get all kinds of errors when I boot up that files can't be loaded from framwork.dll and some other files.
Every day I run Ad-aware and Spybot S&D and, if I've been on the internet, there are ALWAYS problems for them to fix.
HELP!!!!

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
