Help to install XP on a PC with NT

I don't remember if you can upgrade form NT to XP, but to check, just put the xp cd in while NT is running, and see if the option to upgrade is available.
If you can't upgrade, then just keep the cd in the drive, reboot your computer (making sure you have boot from cd listed above hard drive in your bios), and when it says 'press any key to run from cd,' press a key and follow the instructions on screen to delete the partition, create a new one and then format and install (which you can all do from the xp setup screen, no dos prompt or commands are needed).

Thanks Fenor, sorry to be a nuisance but can you please remind me how to enter the BIOS to make sure that the 'boot from CD' option is enabled. Thanks.
