Help! My computer tends to freeze in the middle of my games (most notably DOOM3) but also when I'm surfing the web and sometimes when I'm just knocking around in my computer files. Sometimes everything will work fine, but if I keep playing eventually it will always freeze. :)
I purchased this computer from Tigerdirect after my old computer fried. I had no problems with the old computer with my nVidia GeForce FX 5200 256Mb video card. It just wouldn't boot up one day. :) I bought a new FX 5500 video card because I thought the old one must have died in the old system crash.
I've attatched my dxdiag file.
I've gone to the nVidia website and the XP website and the games websites and all kinds of other places but nobody seems to be able to help me. Can you figure out whats wrong? :tazz:
Help me Obi-wan Kenobi! You're my last hope!
