One of my colleagues, in her infinite wisdom, has deleted 5 accounts from our Active Directory System. This has consequently deleted their account, which cannot be recreated as it states that the account is already in existense. However, the respective mailboxes for each account is still available in Exchange System Manager.

It is imperative that the emails are recovered and that the accounts are recreated. i am loathe to do an entire AD restore (via authoritative Restore), is there any way that these accounts can be restored individually? :tazz:

you can just recreate the actual windows accounts then use the "mailbox recovery" feature in exchange
