I was reading a post from another member (dlines) about the same type of problem I am having. Whenever I try and open any type of program I get an error message "xxxx.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program." I started to follow the advice you gave him by downloading the W2k files but when I double click the files I get the same error message again that the W2kfiles.exe has generated errors. I have no clue what to do. Please help. :) :tazz:

I was told by an IT guy at work that I might need to replace my motherboard. Can anyone tell me how accurate of an assessment this is? If I do need to replace it around how much would it cost...ballpark? Thanks.
