Hi, everyone. I'll try to make this quick. I was downloading a file today (off Kazaa, which is supposed to be legal, so I don't think I'm doing anything wrong with that...please, let me know if I am lol) and I ran the install. I got an Internet Explorer error and I got a few pop-ups. Then, I noticed they kept coming up. I discovered a new toolbar in my Internet Explorer browser. So, I called one of my friends who I thought could help. Well, I definitely have the Aurora/Direct Revenue virus or malware. I have been researching for around seven hours now about this virus, and I am surprised about how it has gone around. "Needless to say," I would like this OFF/OUT of my PC. I am sorry, but I have no idea about how this "Hijack This" stuff works. Please help me and tell me what to do so I can remove the virus. Two important things and a question: I am an online gamer and my friend told me to get AdAware and Spy Bot S&D, or something like that. I have their newest editions. Anti-virus programs hurt my connection when gaming. Is End-It-All a good program for turning these off when I go to race (OK, I race online -- and it's not really gaming. Rather, it's racing)? I AM ALSO A NOOB WITH THIS STUFF. PLEASE REMOVE THIS POST IF YOU NEED TO. I am running on Windows XP with Service Pack 2. I think this was a bit longer than I intended this post to be, because I don't want to take up much of your time. Please, guide me in the right direction to getting rid of this virus. I believe I also have some "PS Guard" that is unremovable.

By the way, you guys have some nice forums. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I will try to post tomorrow because I gotta go to bed now. :tazz:
