Now for some reason it wouldn't let me clean or fix because the window for it never came up. So what do I need to do?

This is a different approach for a scanner, ive never used it in this fashion before but lets have a go shall we?

Please download MWaveScan

Double-click mwav.exe and unzip it to its predetermined Directory (C:\Kaspersky)

Open your run Dialogue and type C:\kaspersky\kavupd.exe and then click open.
If it says the signatures are more than 30 days old, keep trying!
Keep trying until you get the actual signatures!

When you see Updates downloaded Successfully, please press enter to continue but dont run it yet, go ahead and close it out for now.

Reboot into SafeMode

Now go to the Kaspersky folder-> Locate and Double Click "mwavscan.com" to launch the MWAV Scanner!

Once opened-> Leave the "Default Settings ticked" and add a "tick" to"Drives"-> this will light up "All Drives"-> Add a "tick" to "Scan all Files"-> Click "Scan Clean" to begin!

This Scan may take Several Hours or more to Complete,Depending on the Hard Drive Size!

Please be sure it is Completed before proceeding!

Once the Scan has finished,All entries Identified as Infected will displayed in the lower pane!

Highlight everything that is inside the lower pane and press Ctrl+C at the same time to Copy!

Open a Blank Notepad Page and Paste the results (Ctrl+V) to it and Save it to your Desktop!

Here is what I have. i hope this is what you are looking for. You never told me what to do after saving this on my desktop. Here is the output:

File C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Recovery\ExactAdvertisingBargainsBuddy6.zip infected by "Password-protected-EXE" Virus. Action Taken: File Renamed.

This came from MWAVscan.

That's the thing. I'm not uploading the file, it's the contents I was talking about. Every time I tried to copy the contents into the threads, it freezes m computer. It also says program not responding. I may have to give you piece by piece and see how that works. Here is the first piece:

Sat Sep 03 18:15:50 2005 => ***** Scanning complete. *****

Sat Sep 03 18:15:50 2005 => Total Number of Files Scanned: 88248

Sat Sep 03 18:15:50 2005 => Virus Database Count: 138673

This is the bottom half. I will post the rest on a response.

still the same, I can't open any of my main programs. I would have to use "run" program to get to any of my programs those folders, ie My Documents, My Pictures, My Music, My Computer, control panel, and search. Besides that it got a little faster.

Hello, we are going to run System File Checker, to make sure all of your protected files are not corrupt. The scan will automatically replace any corrupt files that it finds.

Sometimes the scan will prompt you for your Windows XP disc upon starting the scan. if this happens please make sure that you can view protected files:My Computer
Tools
Folder Options
View
"Uncheck" Hide protected operating system files.

Click Start
Select Run
At the prompt type sfc /scannow Please note that there is a single space between sfc and /scannow.

Typing this will start the program, and a box should appear telling you how much longer the process should take.

If this asks you to put in your windows XP CD, and you do not have the CD (If you bought it preinstalled) post back for more tips, otherwise enter Windows CD.

Once the scan is complete:

Check your Windows Updates! After using the File Protection Service, you might need to reapply some updates.

Please reboot, and let me know if anything has changed.

Also, please rehide the protected files:My Computer
Tools
Folder Options
View
"Check" Hide protected operating system files.

It didn't work. For some odd reason I believe this command line may have something to do with it.
-ftype folder=%SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe /idlist,%I,%L
-assoc folder=folder

If you think so, let me know please. Because this command line is what open my programs that I had trouble opening.
