Hello everyone,
I found Wareout program on my desktop, uninstalled it, but since then found a few dozens of viruses on my computer. I also had a search toolbar on top of my Internet Explorer, which I also was able to remove after running lots of anti spyware programs. Seems now (according to different virus scans) I got rid of most of them, except I have this yellow baloon popping up in the right bottom corner saying:
Your computer might be at risk
- Your virus protection is bad
- Spyware Activity Detected
Click this baloon to fix this problem
And another message from Windows Security Centre saying something similar.
My antivirus program tells me from time to time that some Trojans are trying to connect to my network from these addresses:
http://195.95.218.99...eb/hclean32.jpg and
http://195.95.218.99...web/rdsndin.jpg
I see people here had the same symptoms and you guys helped them to get rid of this thing. Can somebody please check my HJT log and advice what to do.
Thanks in advance. :tazz:

Here is my log:

Hi chikita and welcome to the Geeks to Go Forums.

My name is Trevuren and I will be helping you with your log.

1. Go to Geeks to Go
. Click on My Controls at the top right hand corner of the window. (make sure you have signed in first)
. In the left hand column, click "View Topics"
. If you click on the title of your post, you will be taken there

2. Also, while at the My Controls page, check the box to the right of your post and then scroll down.
.Where it says "unsubscribe" click the pull-down menu and select "immediate email notification"

3. Please RIGHT-CLICK HERE to download Silent Runner's.
  • Save it to the desktop.
  • Run Silent Runner's by doubleclicking the "Silent Runners" icon on your desktop.
  • You will see a text file appear on the desktop - it's not done, let it run (it won't appear to be doing anything!)
  • Once you receive the prompt All Done!, open the text file on the desktop, copy that entire log, and paste it here.
*NOTE* If you receive any warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run.

Regards,

1. Copy everything in the code box below (starting with REGEDIT4) and paste it into Notepad. Go up to "File > Save As", then click the drop-down box to change the "Save As Type" to "All Files". Save it as fixware.reg on your desktop.

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"System"=-
"System"=""

2. Double-click fixware.reg and when asked if you want to merge with the registry click YES.

3. After the merged successfully prompt, please reboot your computer.

Ok, did as you said. Right after running RKFiles.bat NOD32 told me that it found TrojanDropper.Vidro at
C:\windows\system32\cshmi.exe while trying to access this file by application:
C:\windows\system32\strings.exe and asked if I wanted to delete it, which I said yes.

Here is the log:

C:\Documents and Settings\IRINA\Desktop

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL FILES FOUND BY THIS METHOD ARE NOT BAD FILES, THERE MIGHT BE LEGIT FILES LISTED AND PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHILE FIXING. IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF WHAT IT IS LEAVE THEM ALONE.
Files Found in system Folder............

C:\WINDOWS\system32\msexnpbi.exe: PEFSG!

Please download the Killbox by Option^Explicit.

Your answer surprised me. I was expecting a NO. Lucky I asked because I would have ruined things for you. The item we are removing is not your China Net routing, it is one through the US and then Kiev (A hijack)

Make sure you are disconnected from the Internet and that all programs and windows are closed. Run HiJackThis. Place a check next to the following items and click FIX CHECKED:

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{8C0DBD03-1B75-4F80-B203-2278BB76C4EB}: NameServer = 69.50.176.158,85.255.112.8

Close HiJackThis.

Now lets check some settings on your system.
  • Go to Start > Control Panel and double-click on Network Connections
  • Then right click on your Default Connection
    • Usually Local Area Connection for Cable and DSL
  • Left click on Properties.
  • Click the Networking tab.
  • Double-Click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item.
  • Select the radio dial that says Obtain DNS Servers Automatically.
  • Press OK twice to get out of the properties screen and reboot if it asks.
Make sure to reboot and post back a new HiJackThis log into this topic.

Trevuren, I'm really glad you asked too! Thanks for making sure.

Well, my antivirus didn't display that message about Trojans trying to connect to me after reboot. And I didn't see that yellow baloon pop up as of yet.

I checked my Network Connections and it was already set to Obtain DNS Servers Automatically.

So how am I doing so far:

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order in which they are mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.
  • First we need to make all files and folders VISIBLE:
    • Go to start>control panel>folder options>view (tab)
    • Choose to "show hidden files and folders,"
    • Uncheck the "hide protected operating system files" and the "hide extensions for know file types" boxes.
    • Close the window with ok
  • Please RUN HijackThis.
    . Click the SCAN button to produce a log.

  • Place a check mark beside each one of the following items:

    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://hsremove.com/done.htm
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant =
    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {A757F8A4-ED3D-F0C8-4F3F-1A07C66AD098} - sound64.dll (file missing)
    O2 - BHO: SearchToolbar - {08BEC6AA-49FC-4379-3587-4B21E286C19E} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\fcsbe.dll (file missing)
    O3 - Toolbar: SearchToolbar - {08BEC6AA-49FC-4379-3587-4B21E286C19E} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\fcsbe.dll (file missing)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [startman] vxdman.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [killall] prcmon.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [dmlzx.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\dmlzx.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [ABCXYZ] SysSupport.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [10010] qwe.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [jopplerg] uio.exe

  • Now with all the items selected, and all windows closed except for HJT, delete them by clicking the FIX checked button. Close the HijackThis window.

  • Reboot Your System in Safe Mode

    How to use the F8 method to Start Your Computer in Safe Mode

    • Restart the computer.
    • As soon as BIOS is loaded begin tapping the F8 key until the Advanced Options menu appears.
    • Use the arrow keys to select the Safe mode menu item
    • Press Enter.
  • Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and DELETE them (if they are present):

    sound64.dll <==You will have to do a Search for this one
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\fcsbe.dll
    vxdman.exe<==Search, please
    prcmon.exe<==Search, please
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\dmlzx.exe
    SysSupport.exe,<==Search, please
    qwe.exe<==Search, please
    uio.exe<===Search Please

  • Exit Explorer, and REBOOT BACK INTO NORMAL MODE

  • Finally, RUN Hijackthis again and produce a new HJT log. Post it in the forum so we can check how everything looks now.
Regards,

Trevuren

Could not find any of those files in the Safe Mode, so I guess they all gone now?

Your log looks good. If you have no more malware-related problems that you are aware of, just give me the OK and we can start the final but essential cleanup procedures.
