I have installed and supposedly initialized my new 160 GB WD drive. I ghosted my other drive on to this WD drive. Every time the system boots up Win XP it gives hardware install errors, But everything works fine. When I look at device manager it says "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)", and shows the little ! in yellow. :tazz: I need some help.

This code means the device was not installed completely.

To resolve this issue, follow the recommended solution. If that does not work, try removing the device from Device Manager and using the Add New Hardware wizard to redetect it. You may need to obtain updated drivers if the error still occurs.

Also make sure you have SP2 installed since the drive is larger than 137 gig

If it's special in some way it may require drivers. Google the model number +problems and see what you can find.
