Mmtask issues

I've been getting some problems during the last day or so with mmtask. I'll get an illegal operation mention that mmtask has caused an error ljjig.dll and kernel32.dll , what could help fix this or what would I have to do to fix it?

I should also mention the computer will sometimes freeze just before the desktop and taskbar has loaded. I also get issues with Windows card games with errors being caused in kernel32.dll . The most notable is the mmtask has caused an error in ljjig.dll . I was also wondering what GIJJL files are. Thanks.
