extract the attached file from the zip file and double click on it to open, when it asks if you want to merge it with your registry, click YES. This will fix your desktop tabs

of course after merging the file with your registry you'll have to reboot your machine for the changes to take affect

This could be Malware? My Friend had the same problem, So my he posted a HJT Log in the Malware Forum and got to know that it was Trojan Smitfraud.c!

Hi Rocky,

I have a hijack this log to post that i did last night. I've been wondering if it's spyware, trojan, virus, etc, but i've scanned with spybot, adaware, avg, norton....is it okay to post the log here?

No. You have to post the HJT in the Malware Forum using 'New Topic' and please do all the steps using the link on my previous post.

Rocky! Thanks for checking the log! I don't know how you guys figure all that stuff out...it looks like a mind numbing task!
