* Empty Recycle Bins
* Delete Cookies
* Delete Prefetch files
* Cleanup! All Users

Click OK. Press the CleanUp! button to start the program.

It may ask you to reboot at the end, click NO.

Then, please run this online virus scan: ActiveScan http://www.pandasoft...com/activescan/

Copy the results of the ActiveScan and paste them here along with a new HijackThis log and the vundofix.txt file from the vundofix folder into this topic.

Okay, I uninstalled Viewpoint...
then I clicked on the link to download VundoFix. I went to my desktop to double-click VundoFix but the only icons to double click were "KillVundo" "procees' "Read Me" "starthjt" and "vundo".

What should I do from here?

Additionally since I first posted my Hijack This log I went back and went through steps 1-4 of the process listed here, because I had neglected to do so the first time. Should I re-post a Hijack This log?

It's KillVundo since you probably didn't have known extensions visible.

No, do the HijackThis fixes first and run Panda. Then run a new HijackThis scan so I can see what's still left over from the fix.

Okay, forgive me for sounding unknowledgeable...

But after I double click Kill Vundo how do I "extract the files" before I reboot into safe mode?

No problem. Did you download VundoFix to your computer yet? If so, just double click on it and it will ask you where to install it. Leave it at desktop and just click Install. Now run the KillVundo from the desktop (or folder if it created one on the desktop).

CleanUp! deletes EVERYTHING out of your temp/temporary folders, it does not make backups. If you have any documents or programs that are saved in any Temporary Folders, please make a backup of these before running CleanUp!. Download CleanUp! http://cleanup.stevengould.org/ (Alternate Link if main link don't work - http://www.greyknigh...spy/CleanUp.exe ) and install it. Run CleanUp! and click on the Options button. Uncheck 'Scan local drives for temporary files'. Also uncheck those two Newsgroup entries if you don't want to delete them. Click OK and then click on the CleanUp! button. Let it run. After it's done, choose Yes to logoff.

Your log is clean.

To help prevent future spyware installations/infections, please read the Anti-Spyware Tutorial and use the tools provided.

Are there any problems now? If not, you should be set to go.
