Hi Dear Geeks,
Problem:

Have Outlook email files complete burned on CD.
Can not import them to new computer.

help please

Do you still have the old machine and are the files still on it? You may have to network the machines and move the files over that way. You might have problems with incompatable file systems.

THanks, however no the old machine had to go back. That is why I burned a CD ROM of all the data.

Is it somehow possible to load to the new from the CD ROM?

I have important data there that I need so I can 'get paid'...lol!!

copy the data to the new pc. right click on the files and deselect read only. try to import them now.

Thanks, however in coping to my destktop, the 'outlook' logo is visable. When I right mouse, there is no offering of 'deselect' option....no luck.

right click, then properties, then deselect the "read only" box

have done so. Imported (I think) the .psd files. I can not locate anything, old emails are what I'm looking for....
