[COLOR=blue] i have an amd/pc chips mb 512mb sdram nvidia 32 mb v/c.this is a back up computer that has only had moderate useage.i recently formatted a dual o/s hd and re-installed xp pro only.for some reason when i boot up the browser won't open up,i have to re-boot twice and then things are ok unless i leave pc sit for say 15 minites.when i try to go online or access programs i get an extended look at the desktop.could this be a sympton of needing a new battery?any advice/assistance would be great...............................thank you................................................-:)baginz
