This issue is got me head over heals.
When my neighbor boots his laptop (Dell) his System boots upside down ! Everything runs pefectly except ......
This is not a tablet pc nor is it a screen that swivels.
This is making it very difficult to use this systems.
Has anyone seen this issue before or have any ideas how to fix.
The system has been scaned for viruses and spyware. AVG, Spyboot S&D, MS Beta1
Oh and yes the video cable is on correctly!

Hi petedageek...Welcome to G2G!

In Windows XP, some video drivers or graphics card chipsets supporting 180 degree screen rotation can cause the Windows XP display to be presented upside down. This can be tied to lowering the screen resolution in some accessibility programs, but this is not always the case.

To revert to a right-side up display, hold down the CTRL, ALT and UP (arrow) keys.

OR go to the Microsoft site and read this Article for a possible fix. (See the Microsoft Knowledge Base for more information.)
