I wrote this already but don't know where it when. I hit the wrong button and it dissapear. I am trying to fix a pc (winsxp) and when it boots up it goes into desktop. There are no icons or start buttons on it. It's just has a picture of a flower on the screen. I am able to get into the system througth the task manager. Can anyone tell me how to get back the start button and its icon.

Hi Justnoww

Please click ctrl+alt+delete now click on Applications

Next click on new task a box will popup inside the box type Explorer
click ok now close Windows task Manager all will now load.
