lost some of my programs

i searched tweak ups and tried some of them and i relized i lost all of my games (i dont really care) and in entertainment i lost all my stuff, so now i dont have a volume control but my speakers have a nob, etc... but id like that stuff back and i dont want to system restore, sorry for the bad grammer and typos :tazz:

With the volume and all, do you still have them in your Control Panel?

Just cause you did not know, that is ok. That is what we're here for...... To help.

Can you please do this:

Start>Run

Type in Regedit

DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING OR CHANGE ANYTHING

Go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Polices


Then Click on:

File Export

Save to where you can find it.

Right click on the reg file and go to:

Open With>Note Pad

Copy it, then paste it in here please.

ok and if u cant find it its ok ill download a cal and a voice recorder and the other stuff

Now what Im going to do it get you to do the same thing but for the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING OR CHANGE ANYTHING

Can you please do this:

since alot of those files are system related...you may be able to do a repair install of windows....it may or may not fix the issue

hmmm well was there anything inportant in there, and i also lost my cousors but i downloaded some so thats not a problem so if anyone could give me the importand stuff ill search for them to download like i searched for a cal
