Can't get internet access

I recently had a malware/spyware problems which was fixed, thanks to this forum. However, since my most recent fix, I have had intermittent problems acessing the internet. I reboot and open up my IE browser. Sometimes takes several reboots to get it to work. I know its not my ISP as I'm on a router and all my other PCs access the net just fine. I'm guessing some of the fixes to get rid of the malware may have tripped something up? Any guidance would be appreciated.
