I'd like to buy an LCD monitor, mainly for graphics applications and games.
Which are the good monitors ? can be 17" or 19".

P.S - what parameters in specifications I need to look for ?

thanx

A low response time and good res are the main factors, i like my snycmaster 913N has an 8ms response so i havent noticed a bit of ghosting at all.

Yeah I got a 19' Flat Panel LCD at 8ms and works great on games like Halo and Warcraft that I play! My cousin got the same but at a slower speed and the difference is much noticeable! When he plays Halo! Boy do you get a head-ache it stops for like 1 second every 2 seconds!!

Yeah samsung actually make the lcd panels for all the low response 19" monitors out there as well as almost all of the larger ones the only difference is the slight variations in the signal processor etc this gives some monitors slight advantages in response and colour. The hyundai l90s get really good write up and viewsonic have a 4ms response time 19" monitor.

CRTs are better for games but for the price of a good CRT that can beat a TFT its not all that worth it they are also desk monsters.
