I managed to delete these folders. I had to go into Safe Mode to delete 'hole corn warn safe', but they're all gone now.

Messanger plus still seems to be installed on your system. Please try uninstalling it again (make sure you delete the Messanger Plus Folder after you uninstall it). Then reboot, and post a new HiJackThis log for me.

Please do an online virus scan with Panda ActiveScan Here. You need to use Internet Explorer for this scan.

• Once you get to the Panda site, scroll down a bit and click on Scan your PC
• A new window will appear; click on Check Now!
• A new window will appear; fill in the boxes (Country, State, email addy)
• Click on Scan Now! >
  If you have never used ActiveScan before, you will be prompted to install an ActiveX control (asinst.cab) : click on Install. Panda will install the component, and then install the latest signature files.
• From "Select a device to scan...", choose "My Computer"
• Allow the scan to run. It'll take a while.
• When complete, click on "See Report", and then on "Save report"; save it to a convenient location.
• I will need you to post that report in your next reply; simply open the text file, then copy/paste the content here.

I was able to fix the items on HiJack This but I couldn't run the Panda Scan. In the window that asked for the country etc, there was nothing in the drop down boxes to select so I couldn't continue with that! Do you have any idea what I can do?

There are a few more things that we need to fix before you are clean =)

Please reopen HiJackThis and scan your computer. Please place a check mark next to the following entries. Be sure to select only the entries that are listed below, as deleting the wrong file could cause harm to your system.

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MessengerPlus3] "C:\Documents and Settings\MAURA\My Documents\My Received Files\[email protected]\MsgPlus.exe" /WinStart


Next, please close all programs except for HiJackThis, and select Fix Checked.
Reboot your computer and boot into safe mode.

To boot into safe mode turn your computer on and press f8, continiously, until a menu appears. At this menu please select safemode

Please open Windows Explorer and delete the following folders:
C:\Documents and Settings\MAURA\Application Data\Mags Meta
C:\Documents and Settings\Eilis\Application Data\Mags Meta
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SOFTWARE TRANS THUNK ARMY

Next, please locate this folder (do NOT delete it): C:\WINDOWS\system32\zimvhrxis

Once you locate this folder, please create a zipped version of it.

Once you have a zipped version of this folder, please reboot your computer into normal windows.

Next, please email the zipped foler to [email protected] Please include a link to this topic in your email.

I managed to delete the two Mags Meta folders but i couldn't find the Software Trans Thunk Army folder at all! I also emailed the zipped folder so I'm just waiting on a reply to that. Thanks for all your help with this!
