Hello everyone,

I know zippo about computers. All I really know is that I recently bought a new laptop and once the trial period of my virus scan was over and I installed a new one. That the lovely Winfixer2005 pops up a million times a day and is annoying the HE double hockey sticks out of me. I have been trying to read all the suggestions about what to do, but am still really lost. Could someone please explain this to me in a way that I can understand? Please help its just driving me crazy!!!

Thanks so much for your time.

Hello :tazz:

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
