Hi Muggsy and Welcome to Geekstogo,

Based on your post I am not sure if you are just sharing what you plan to do or if you want instructions on how to do it?

I will assume you want instructions, if so I will also assume you are running windows XP on the system in question based on your profile. If so you can follow this link for some very detailed info on reformating your HD

REMEMBER, you should backup all your data, once you reformat all of your data is GONE FOREVER.
