i have xp pro and i did not get the cd with my computer so i borrowed my brothers xp home cd. but what i need to no is can i do that thing were you put the disk in your computer and it fix's all the errors?

Hi customcomp...

In a word...No.

XP Home and XP Pro are different versions. You would also have to have your product key handy to perform the repair function.

You could go to the computer manufacturer and ask for a new CD (If they allow it) or you could go and buy a new one.
