The other morning (two days ago) at 0751 Norton inform of virus infection; ad-ware is also responding to block continous (cookies I think).
Upon investigation I find I have a number of problems: It seems in order of malignancy: hclean.exe, wareout, alexa.
My own efforts and following the Geekstogo instructions seems to have helped a great deal, but the hclean.exe continues to be active--according to Norton.
Also, it seems my browser IE 6.0 is working better and does not have the locked surfing toolbar any longer.
Any help would be appreciated
I am now posting my Hijackthis log:

Again,
any help sincerely appreciated.
P.S. This computer is a Win 2000 it is the main computer on a three computer network. One of the other computers (win XP )has not been on the network since the virus attacks-- the other computer has briefly to get help for this problem (computer number three has no antivirus software and is almost never exposed to the internet, also a win 2000 system)
