I just completed removal of malware from my computer (with the help of this site, thanks very much) but Quickbooks will not load. I have uninstalled it, reinstalled it and just as the login window appears, I get the following message:

the instruction at "0x004075ff referenced at 0x02723854, The memory could not be "read"

Click on OK to terminate the program

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've already lost a day of work to spyware!

Right click the desktop icon then properties then compatibilty, tick turn off advanced text services

You might want to check with the Malware Team if you haven't already

Please go here:

http://www.geekstogo..._Log-t2852.html

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log in a new topic in the Malware Forum

If you are unable to run any of the programmes, ask for advice in the Malware Forum

I spent all of 2 days getting my computer pronounced CLEAN by the malware forum.

I right clicked the icon and checked that box - it was not checked.

I appreciate any advice offered.

Would be worth rebooting just to see if it clears it now you have ticked the box for advanced text

The Quick Books site only has an 0870 UK number for tech support
