:tazz: I fixed it! I once again uninstalled Office 2000 and then went into Local Settings under Microsoft and Identities subfolders and deleted any reference to Outlook and OE. Then I reinstalled. All was well, so I imported my PST file and it works! Thanks again for your suggestions.
