hi and thankyou for vewing my post..
heres my problem.
I have a virus called Bloodhound.W32.EP which is infecting a file C:\windows\hhnt.exe

Norton keeps telling me i have this virus but when i scan for it Norton gets shut down.. I have ran Ad aware SE . And a few online scans.. the virus has replaced my desktop with an html file called C:\windows\desktop.html.. i have no idea how to remove it.. also for some unkown reason in the registry, HKLM\software\microsoft\currentversion folder has disappeared..
IM running XP.. PLease someone help.. iT has also replaced my home page which i cannot change back..

Please reboot into safe mode (continually tap the F8 key while your system is starting, select Safe Mode from the menu).
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):

Reboot your PC.
