I take it those programs loaded on the machine ok...Do the shortcuts to them (on the desktop) also work? How's "Wunderbox" seem to be running?

It's not showing up on my black list, but would appear to be adware. You can probably delete anything that avast finds. However Rule #1 stands...

Everything seem to be running ok so far?

took me a minute to realize what you meant by rule #1 :tazz:

i don't know how it's running yet, but bare with me just in case

it's still scanning--i didn't realize the stopping occured during the scan; i thought it was done.. i'll pay better attention to keep it going quickly

Lots of nasties on this machine... :tazz:

Bet the Malware Folks will have it fixed in no time once they get to you. Did you notice how busy they are in there? It's crazy!

Are you still running in Normal Mode? No hangs? Make me happy!!! :)

yeah, i was wondering why they weren't paying attention to little me, but i saw the number of posts going on there.. crazy stuff..

i don't know how it's running in the sense that, this scan is still running upon reboot so, it's in that big screen, low-res, not started up in normal mode kinda thing...

i loaded the program in safemode as well as the mozilla, then rebooted, but didn't reboot in safemode.. so it went to this scan.... and yeah

That's why it's so important that the Maleare experts look at this. These things are leaving bits and pieces of themselves all over that machine.

Delete that one.

Ok...this is a scan on boot...good way to do it. Would have been a lot faster from windows, though.

i see that now

there's another one very similar to that

i'll just type it to be safe (lets hope there aren't too many after this one)

oh wait, it's the same thing.. just conflict.2

i did delete that first one, but it comes up with "this is in the windows folder, are you sure you want to delete".. scared me.. but i deleted it.. hah..

..wouldn't that be my luck that it would mess things up

Shouldn't be a problem...there shouldn't be any files like that in the Downloaded Programs Folder. It's not listed on the Microsoft site either. I am looking these up... :tazz:

Do you have an option to abort this scan so we can run it under windows? That would sure be a lot quicker.
