My computer has been completely hijacked by everything. Every time i run an Ad-Aware scan and remove the programs. They will be back at next startup. Same goes for Spybot scans as well. My computer will just up and randomly restart, and that is a new problem as of 3 days ago, when I tried restored the system back to when I first got it. I have all of my updates but have not yet installed SP2. Also as of the last few times ive used it, Spybot will say it found, lets say 79 problems, when
I click fix problems it will only fix 14 of them. And even if I tell it to run on next startup, it used to do it before my start menu and icons popped up, now it does it right after they do, so I think it may have lost it affectiveness to remove programs that havent already been started yet. Sorry, im rambling.

If there is anything else you need to know, or anything Ive missed please let me know.

Congratulations! Your system is CLEAN :tazz:

How do you prevent spyware from being installed again? We strongly recommend installing SpywareBlaster (it's free for personal use) Click Here.

Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Consumes no system resources.

Download, run, check for updates, download updates, select all, protect against checked. All done. Check for updates every couple of weeks. If you have any errors running the program like a missing file see the link at the bottom of the javacool page.

It's also very important to keep your system up to date to avoid unnecessary security risks. Click Here to make sure that you have the latest patches for Windows.

These next two steps are optional, but will provide the greatest protection.
1. Use ANY browser besides Internet Explorer, almost every exploit is crafted to take advantage of an IE weakness. We usually recommend FireFox Posted Image.
2. Install Sun's Java. It's much more secure than Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine .

It's okay to delete the Hijack This folder if everything is working okay.

After doing all these, your system will be thoroughly protected from future threats. ;)

We highly recommend installing SP2. Click here: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/.
-or-
It's a very large download about 82MB, so if you're on dial-up, order a free CD here:
