Like 2 days ago I started to get this message when I start my computer:

Error loading P2ESOCKS_1026.DLL

I need help with this issue. Everything else in my PC seems to be running OK.

Also I went ahead and took the liberty to scan my PC using the HIJACK THIS application and this is what got back:

(Please any help with this, I'll appreciate it with all my heart, this is a Voice that cries for help)

Run Hijack This and post a fresh HJT log along with Panda scan report.

Also can you tell me something about this program - D:\setupstb.exe ????

Hey, Tampabelle

I had a friend take a look a my comp, he works at a Tech place, he says that since I got rid of my problem, to don't bother doin anyrhing else to my PC.
So far my comp. is working fine and faster, and to tell the truth I'am a little skeptical to run or delete any more stuff out of my PC.

If you really think I should go ahead and fix any more things please let me know, and will do it.

Last thing I did was to download and run EWIDO, and this is the log.

There were two entries which didnt look OK to me when I glanced through your log earlier.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [OSS] c:\windows\system32\mksc.exe -boot
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ITPIPSetup] "D:\setupstb.exe"

Regrading the file mksc.exe, just search for it on google and that will tell you what the file is and whether it is bad or not.

I have no idea about the other file - D:\setupstb.exe - and whether it is bad or not. Therefore I had asked you about this file. I didnt ask you to fix the entry or delete the file.

You have gotten rid of the most evident problem but not all the problems. Choice is entirely yours as to whether you want to fix it or not !!!!

I would just like to say that The staff members at this website see infections day in and day out. So we are very adept at identifying and tackling infections. We have had quite a few "computer experts" come to this forum to get rid of their problems. This is not say that they are stupid but that they are not used to looking at things the way we do !!!!! On the other hand I am not sure if I can do what they dowith computers.
