Sometimes Firefox cant seem to open

Sometimes, when I try to open Firefox, the window does not open. When I look under processes, Firefox is one of the applications open. The only solution to this problem that I found is to reinstall Firefox or restart my computer. Again, this problem only occurs sometimes. Other times, it works fine. I'm sure there's no maleware on my computer. Is this a known bug or something? And is there a way to get it around it? Thanks.
