Hi,

I was just wondering, on person opinion or even on reviews, but what do you think the best personal firewall there is out there?

I've hardly used one.. just realized that I should probably have on rather than the Windows XP Firewall.. something better, something configurable and such.

So I ask you!

Which would you say is the best personal firewall out there today?

Try here

http://www.filehippo...ware/firewalls/

Zone Alarm is a popular choice, when you run anything it will ask it you want to allow it access, you choose to allow once or tick to allow and remember the choice

As they are free, you can try them all, though only run one firewall, after you install any of them, turn off the XP Firewall

I use ZoneAlarm, and it works just fine for me. Not only is it dead easy to set up and configure, it also has a real fabulous interface as well. More experienced users would probably find Kerio Personal Firewall to be a better choice.

Hi Purgatory

Another decent free firewall is Sygate...not quite as customizable, but very adequate.
