Forgotton local administrator password w2k machine

Can someone please let me know how you can change your local administrator password in windows 2000 because i have forgotten it. I can't logon to my machine at all.

I can change the local administrator password on windows xp, but when i follow the same process for w2k it doesn't work. Can someone please help ASAP.

Have you actually every changed the administrator password before on the machine, because it's blank by default......

Well if you have manually changed it, try out this link to try to reset the administrator's password. Never tried it myself since I have had no need.
