Hi,
I have recently acquired a problem. My pc will connect to the internet and after about five minutes, it just stops and I get the "the page cannot be displayed" screen. If I disconnect the power cable and plug it back in, it will work for a few minutes again and then die. If I try to repair my connection, I get a dialog box that says it can't complete it. I've restarted the computer and that helps for a little while and then same old problem.

I've hooked up our laptop to and that works fine every time.

I'm running an emachine, T1840, with XP, and cable modem.

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
