Hey. i got windows XP and a razer diamondback mouse. today when i turned on the PC. it clicks the left mouse btn. like 3 or 4 times each mouse click. if im going to mark a folder. it opens it straight away. and even opens files inside it if the mouse is over it. ive deleted the drivers and installed them again. but it doesnt work. HELP

Start>control panel> go to the top of the page Tools>folder options>Genral tab>
last in list click items as follows

there it says double click to open. its like the mouse is clicking 3-4 times each time i click the mouse button once

Have you tried changing the click rate on the mouse,
Do you have an old mouse to plug in and see if it is the same problem

yeah. ive tried to change the rate and no. i dont have another mouse to try :tazz:

Is it something to do with the fly sensitivity?
does this happen when you play a game?

nope. no help to get. so i just bought a new mouse.. that fixed it -_-
