Is there a way to increase the number of places to 'send' files etc after a right click. For example, if I wanted to send a music file to 'my music', is there a way to have that location appear on the 'send to' list after I right click the file?? :tazz:

If you right click on Start >explore you will find a folder called Send To
Copy and past a short cut to the folder - Not the program just a short cut

:tazz: Ok, Icould only find the folder by 'searching', found 4 'send to' files, and placed the shortcuts in the one designated to me. The short cuts now`show up on my list and files will go there :) but the original file remains on the desk top and I have to manually delete it :) . Shouldn't it just go there and not remain behind? Is there a setting I may have changed somewhere? I have been 'configuring', etc and occassonally run into :) . Thanx for you prompt inf :tazz:

I think send to only opens the application needed to run.
does not move files
However if you pick from the desktop and send to my documents then it will copy the file to there but not move.
to do that you have to use the CUT command

Hmmm. :tazz: I 'sent' a notepad file from desktop to my documents then deleted the file from desktop to r/bin then empied bin. The file ran from documents so I'm pretty sure the whole file went. :) I thought when I sent files to my documents before that they didn't remain but perhaps my herbal supplements :) are affecting my memory. Could you tell me if files you 'send' remain? Then I'll close the subject. :) Thanx.
