well my mobo is a asrock k7s41gx and i just got a pny agp x8 verto geforce 6600 256mb card and i wanna know what kind of volatge this takes i cant find out becuase my mobo say not to place a 3.3v into the agp slot it could damage my mobo can anyone help?

its fine, the 6600 is lower, 3.3 as i remember is only the really old cards

as i understand it. The old one si get in the shop are usually 3.3

but im a lil confused so newer cards take less volts? even tho i need to plug the power suplie into it

it has to do with the speed really. the 3.3v's are the 2x cards. you'll be hard pressed to find one of those these days unless you ebay. your 8x card is 0.8v.

ok thanks another question if my card is agp 2.0 complaint will i have problem if my board is 3.0?
