I have an ASUS A7V8X-X mobo with onboard sound. Problem is, with my speakers on, volumes up and nothing playing, I get some feedback noise for some reason. This noise is also there when listening to music/movies/dvd's etc. Its really annoying, especially if using headphones. I am not sure what the problem is, I have the drivers for it and its still the same. Please help!

Double click on the volume icon next to the clock in the systray and turn the volume all the way down for the LINE IN. You should now not hear any static :tazz:
