I'm running WinPatrol and it alerts every 30 seconds to an attempt to install a new auto startup program. Each attempt is with a different exectable (e.g. C:\WINNT\system32\rpfndsd.exe r). After I select no on the dialog, it will return with another in about 30 seconds.
I was having difficulty removing abetterinternet when I found your site. I followed the instructions for new members but was unable to eliminate either of these two problems (auto startup program and abetterinternet). I don't knowif there related or not.
The only step I couldn't accomplish was a download of the Ewido Security Suite. I got the error: The installer you are trying to useis corrupted or incomplete. This could br the result of a damaged disc, a failed download, or a virus.
If this give any of you an idea ofwhat is going on in my machine, I'd be very greatful for some insite.
Thanks in advance for your time.
