I am ready to SCREAM. I switched from AOL dial up service to Verizon DSL. I installed the DSL Internet Security Suite Package. The service tells me that I have a virus, but it isn't user friendly, in so much that I can't find out how to remove the virus. In doing a web search, I happened upon this forum. I hoping someone here can help me. BTW, I can't install all of the things that are suggested in the "do this first" list because of my Verizon Online Security Suite. For example, Spybot Search and Destroy. I can't download it. In fact, I had to uninstall it when I went to the Verizon package.

Something (I think it is PS Guard) has completely taken over my desktop. Other than that, I haven't noticed anything strange or weird. My Verizon Anti-Virus program keeps giving me the message that I have the following virus: W32/Dropper.AEV in the following infected file: C:\WINDOWS\system32\gxlib.exe

Please, please....any help that anyone can provide to me would be so appreciated. Please keep in mind that I am very computer illiterate.
