Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log, and we'll clean up what's left.

VX2 looks to be gone..now let's deal with the other infections..

We need to disable your Microsoft AntiSpyware Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make.

Open Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Click on Tools, Settings.
In the left pane, click on Real-time Protection.
Under Startup Options uncheck Enable the Microsoft AntiSpyware Security Agents on startup (recommended).
Under Real-time spyware threat protection uncheck Enable real-time spyware threat protection (recommended).
After you uncheck these, click on the Save button and close Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Right click on the Microsoft AntiSpyware icon on the taskbar and select Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Please print out this post so that you have a hard copy of these instructions. If you run into any difficulty in performing any of the steps move on to the next one, but state what they were in your next post

1)Update your Ewido for latest definitions.

2)Download CWShredder Here to your desktop.
Update CWShredder

• Open CWShredder and click I AGREE
• Click Check For Update
• Close CWShredder

3)Download about:buster by RubbeRDuckY Here to your desktop.
Update About:Buster

• Unzip the contents of AboutBuster.zip and an AboutBuster directory will be created.
• Navigate to the AboutBuster directory and double-click on AboutBuster.exe.
• Click "OK" at the prompt with instructions.
• Click "Update" and then "Check For Update" to begin the update process.
• If any updates exist please download them by clicking "Download Update" then click the X to close that window.
• Now close About:Buster

4)Download and install CleanUp! but do not run it yet.

5)Download and install Adaware, uncheck "show help file" and "perform full system scan" at the end of the installing routine, perform the update and close Adaware. You will need it later

6)Download and save to your Desktop, don't run it now, we will use it later:

7)Then close every window and manually disconnect from Internet, double click the CWSshredder icon on your Desktop.
Click Fix, ok and then Next, let it fix everything it asks about.

8)Run HijackThis

Close all other windows except HijackThis and click Fix Checked.

9)Shut down all running programs, make sure that you are not connected to the internet!
Double-click the FxAgentB.exe file to start the removal tool.
Save the log it makes and post it in your next reply.
Please do NOT start any other applications until the removal tool exits and the computer is restarted.
Restart the computer.
Run the removal tool again to ensure that the system is clean.

10)Boot into safe mode by tapping the F8 key just before Windows starts to load.

11)Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu).
Set the program up as follows:
Click "Options..."
Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!"
Put a check next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):

• Empty Recycle Bins
• Delete Cookies
• Delete Prefetch files
• Scan Local Drives for Temporary Files
• Cleanup! All Users

Click OK
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program.

It may ask you to reboot at the end, if it does don't reboot.

12)Please run about:buster by RubbeRDuckY:[list]
[*]Click Start and then OK to allow AboutBuster to scan for Alternate Data Streams.
[*]Click Yes to allow it to shutdown explorer.exe.
[*]It will begin to check your computer for malicious files. If it asks if you would like to do a second pass, allow it to do so.

15)Make sure you can view hidden files:

Next click on My Computer.
Go to Tools > Folder Options.
Click on the View tab and make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked.
Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and "Hide extensions for known file types."
Now click "Apply to all folders"
Click "Apply" then "OK"

17)Make a full system scan with Adaware. Remove all it finds.

18)Make a scan with Ewido, remove all it finds and save the log from the scan.

19)Reboot to normal mode and post:
